Keep up with my Pickin'

Howdy there everybody!!! I know I’ve been kinda slacking on posting and I apologize for that!!! But for those of you who have been waiting here you go!!! Let me start by saying I hope everyone had an excellent Turkey Day, ate their fill, and got their fill of relatives!!! I had an excellent day for sure I had the pleasure of spending it with my one of my Nashville families, employers, and management team, for those of you who are confused at this point I am referring to the GREAT Jett WilliamsHolidays and her wonderful husband and entourage Keith Adkinson, it was delightful to say the least!!! Jett cooked up a storm and we ate it just as fast!!! I WILL be going home for Christmas to spend it with my family, my mom would kill me if I did anything different!!! I hope everyone has a safe and warm Holiday filled with family fun and cheer, in fact I demand it!!! Anyway down to the Artist stuff because that’s what we’re all here for right, right!!! I will be back in TX Dec. 14th for the Holidays and then back in Nashville by the 28th of this month, but before I go I will be doing a very SPECIAL event benefiting underprivileged kids called CHRISTMAS4KIDS!!! I hope to see all of y’all out there!!! We will be out there on buses signing autographs in the Hendersonville Walmart parking lot!!! Christmas is about the kids so lets give these kids a good one!!! Howdy out there to all of my Shreveportians!!! Come on out this Sunday!!! CHECK IT OUT!!!

ALRIGHT now for some new news!!! On OCTOBER 1st There will be an event in Nashville, not just any event, it’s something so fowl I’m not sure I should talk about it…….nah I’m joking it’s the 1st Annual Music City Southern Hot Wing Festival!!! Everything you need to know about this event can be found on the website I will link to this once I’m done rambling on!!! I will be playing, and hanging out, at this event along with many other artists!!! If you read closely you will also see I will be wearing another hat, figuratively speaking of course!!! Be sure to check it out and Come on down October 1st!!! Look forward to seeing y’all there!!! It has been a while since I last checked in!!! So to get y’all up to date I’ve done a few more shows with Jett Williams and the oh so talented Drifting Cowboys!!! The most recent show I did was TONS-O-FUN though the event itself was short lived!!! I’m referring to the Heroes Music Festival which took place in Hampton, GA which was outside of Atlanta at the Atlanta Motor Speedway!!! This was a well thought out and put together event but unfortunately there were some problems and only one day of the festival occured, which was my day!!! As sad as I am that they weren’t able to continue for such a GREAT cause I am glad that I was able to play!!! GOD BLESS ALL Y’ALL!!! The next post will contain information about FUTURE events!!! I am PROUD to announce that I will be participating in the Heroes Music Festival at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in September from the 8-11th!!! That’s right folks one more dream is coming true!!! This Saturday June 4th I will get to play Ernest Tubb’s Midnite Jamboree something that all of our country heroes did back in the day!!! Like usual it will air live on 650 WSM and streaming over the internet so if you’re up be sure and check it out!!! I will be on with other GREAT acts such as Jett Williams, David Frizzell, and Razzy Bailey, so it should be a great show!!! For all who made it out this year we had fun and truly appreciate your presence at such a spectacular event!!! For all who didn’t we hope to see you next year and attached is a picture of the closing of the show with all of us on stage!!! I have to say it was such a huge honor to share the stage with such GREATS like Helen Cornelius, Jim Ed Brown, David Frizzell, Jimmy Fortune, Razzy Bailey, and the FABULOUS Jett Williams!!!
